Aislin was confused, so confused, in fact, one might think she had never seen make-up before in her life. She had pulled her sceneish style hair in to a ponytail and was now currently looking around desperately, trying to find her brushes, wondering where they went and what was happening. She had been given specifics on how the band liked their things place and such, and she had hope she had put everything in the right place. A frustrated groan sounded from her as she sat down, blue eyes wandering over the floor. Aislin made a soft noise and sighed, wondering what her sister was doing right at this current moment....probably sleeping with someone from a band. She hated to admit it, but her sister was kind of a hot mess...and a bit of a slut. However her sister was always fantastic at organizin things, so she spent a moment tryin to remember all of what she had said.
Then it came to her, and she stood up, putting in a CD and danced to her favorite band while she worked, Antidote. Aislin love punk rock, it was her favorite genre of music, but she liked 80's metal as well...and glam rock. She picked up a box and started putting things away in their proper places, humming while she did so. She was setting down a small stack of magazine's on a coffee table when she saw yet another box to put away. internally groaning she opened it and started to pu those things away as well, yelping when she dropped a container of black face paint on the floor. "Good god Aislin you are such a klutz" She hissed to herself, getting a rag and got down on her knees to clean it up.
Aislin internally smacked herself as she wiped up the black mess that was all over the floor, cursing herself over and over again. She didn't know jack compared to the other people on tour, she didn't know how to react to a rocker, or how to talk to act around them at all. She stood up and dropped the rag in a dustbin and lit a cigarette, puffing on it slowly, watching the smoke lazily float above her head, and she thought about her actions, it made her regret leaving her father by himself. "He'll be okay" She told herself, but, of course, she was lying. She knew that he wouldn't be okay and he would probably die of a broken heart if his depression and slight drug use didn't get him first. She got up and lugged a few more boxes around and then sat in one of the chairs, sighing a little.

Jack wandered around the backstage; a professional looking camera and a pass hanged around his neck. The show wasn't going to end just yet and he actually, for once in his life, got to the place earlier then planned. Deciding to use the power of the pass, and the ability to roam around, Jack decided to explore the place. Black and white Nike shuffled across the floor, as a thin line of ash from a cigarette between his finger lined a trail to where he was. Were people allowed to smoke here? He didn't exactly know, but a nice smoke break seemed to relax his nerves that had been pretty high-strung these days because of work. He was supposed to there to take pictures for an upcoming interview that would be taking place. Of course he was to take other pictures also, but nothing or anyone caught his interest.
Maybe some backstage shots of the people working here would be nice, he mused, after all they are pretty important at getting the show up on its feet. Taking his camera from his neck, Jack shot a few pictures of the backstage, before continuing and wandering further down. He thanked the higher being in the sky that he was smart enough to leave all the heavy equipment back near the curtain. He would have died trying to lug it around with him everywhere. For some reasons, the seemingly small things could be heavy when packed all together. It was a pain whenever he had to actually carry the dreaded bag everywhere. He usually instead carried his favored camera that was perfect for shots that didn't need to be all fancy.
Wandering into what seemed to be the makeup area he peeked inside. Seeing a blue haired girl wiping the floor of what seemed to be remnants of coffee, he wondered if he should help. Looking around, he wasn't able to spot a dirty rag and decided to instead make his way to the girl and ask if she wanted his help instead. As soon as Jack got the though of approaching the girl, she got up onto a chair and the coffee on the floor was no more. He silently walked forward as he naturally sought for companionship. He loved making friends, as it made life a little less lonely. "He'll be okay." Jack's ears perked up as he tilted his head in curiosity and confusion. Who is he? Why did she just sigh? She doesn't look very happy. The thoughts ran through his head even if he had no answer to them, he hardly knew her, actually scratch that, he didn't know her at all. All he knew was that she didn't seem to be in the best of moods and that she was shrouded in mystery to him. He decided to change both of the problems, at least to the best of his abilities. "Hi!" he said with a smile on his face, his voice light and soft.

Aislin was perfectly content in just sitting where she was and smoking her cigarette, looking around the room with a small sigh, she really had no idea what she was doing, and didn't really know what the paparazzi wanted....it was because she never watched that much television growing up to watch TMZ and such. She never really believed that people could actually have other humans hunting them down to expose their secrets. She observed her first press conference this morning and it exhausted her, and she didn't have to answer any questions. The fast-paced sound of the Bouncing Souls flooded the room, and she had the urge to dance, the tune was catchy and energetic, everything punk manifested itself in. She danced around a little, then went back to sitting in the chair, flicking some ash off of the cherry of her cigarette. She had no idea she wasn't alone until someone spoke up, and nearly scared the pants off of her.
Aislin stood up quickly and turned around to face the newcomer, a look on her face "H-hello" She greeted him, backing away a little "W-who are y-you?" She stuttered, a nervous habit of hers, and it annoyed the hell out of her, it always made her seem like a little kid, even though she was clearly not. She swallowed and stood up a little bit taller, though by now, any attempt to speak would be a useless waste of her time, she would stammer through it like an idiot, like she normally did. She was not very good at conversing with people, and frequently got frightened, very easily at that.
She however, loved to make friends, and thought about it for a moment, but fear again, took over all sensible thoughts and she backed away, trying to hide behind a curtain "I-if your here for an interview for the band....they aren't here" She murmured, closing her ice blue eyes to try and make herself invisible. Aislin used a three year old's logic at times 'If I can't see you, you can't see me' kind of thing. She bit her lip and tried to calm the frantic beating of her heart, he had sure given her a scare.
Slowly she peaked out from her hiding place, finding that he was indeed, still standing in the room "I'm sorry....You just scared me a little" She murmured, slowly coming out from behind the curtain, approaching him a little, cigarette still dangling between her fingers.

Jack hated being part of the paparazzi. It made him feel like a stalker, which really was something no one should enjoy being. He should be glad he was at least making enough money to survive and live comfortable, there was so many other things that could have happened to him. For instance he could have been dead six feet under or pickpocketing people. He was hoping to maybe work his way up into taking other sorts of pictures that did not require him to constantly made him be celebrities' shadows. He wasn't even interested about them dating or any of those things.
Hearing the girl's nervous voice, he suddenly felt guilty. He realized that he was a random guy suddenly appearing out of the blue. Seeing her back away into the curtain made another pang of guilt hit his heart. He really didn't mean to surprise the girl and made her hide like that. He began to fiddle with his camera lens as his cigarette sent small wisps of smoke into his face."I'm Jack, who are you?" He tried to give himself a nice, easy going image, he didn't want to upset the girl anymore.
"I-if your here for an interview for the band....they aren't here" "Oh, I just take the pictures! Right now I'm just exploring, I really have nothing better to do,"
he said awkwardly, the hand that was playing with the camera moved it's way to the back of his neck, Besides, meeting new people is better then gossip right?"He never minded the stuttering, his sister Addy use to stutter when she was younger. It was mainly from meeting new people and he could guess that she was just nervous. Besides, everyone has their own nervous habits and it be hypocritical to judge. Seeing the girl move out of the curtain brought a smile to his face. He loved making friends and maybe he'll make a new one. "It's okay, anyways it's my fault for scaring you like that. I randomly popped out of nowhere! It should be me saying sorry you." His smile became a grin. He was hoping she would warm up to him and the maybe they could talk and pass the time. The band didn't seem like they would end for awhile. Anyways, Jack could always pass off the conversation as work if anyone caught him and ask if he should be working. A make-up artist is important as anything else. They're the ones who allow the band members to become hot enough for girls to fawn and have nosebleeds over them. They are the background people who helped make everything happen. [/blockquote] {Tag} Aislin a.k.a. Aislin could have smacked herself for how much of a nervous little child she was acting like, who wanted to deal with a stuttering nineteen year old who played with make-up for a living. The stuttering was annoying and stupid, and she hated it. All she wanted to do was disappear in to the curtains she was hiding behind. Of course, this not only wasn't fair because she was acting a fool, but she was also acting rude, and it nearly killed her. "H-hi Jack" She murmured, backing up, trying to hide the startled blush on her face. "I..I'm A-Aislin" She murmured, hiding herself behind the velvet like curtain, feeling horrible, but what could she do, once she was nervous, her brain went in to over drive and nothing could really help or stop it.
When he told her he was here to take pictures, she shrunk back a little "Not of the staff I hope not" She murmured, her tone soft, she didn't like pictures, not that he was going to be taking pictures of the staff, they normally didn't. Bands and groupies, that was about it. Never the staff, the only time she was asked to be in a picture was when they were doing a scoop of lies and nearly ruined everyone's reputation. A small sigh escaped her as she gently played with some of the curtain's fabric.
He did bring up a valid point about meeting new people being better then gossip, and she blinked "Y-yeah, It's better then gossip" She murmured, sitting down on a couch, tucking some blue hair behind her ear. She laughed a little and gave him a small smile "Well, sometimes people just pop up out of nowhere, you can't control that" Aislin spoke, giving him a genuine smile now, her nervousness and fear mostly gone now. She really did hate being such a little pussycat sometimes, skittish and mild she wasn't one to start conversations unless she was comfortable with the person of she had known them for a fair bit of time.
Aislin knew darn well that she was the one who made the members of the band hot enough for the crowds, not that she minded, normally they were all nice to her. The more she tried to hold conversations with them, the better things seemed to be for her, and that made her happy because she never ever wanted to get on anyone's bad side. She turned to Jack and offered another small smile and looked at his camera "What kind is it?" She asked, taking an interest in his job. After all, he made a point to talk to her, the least she could do was hold up her end of the conversation.

Jack scolded himself for making the girl nervous. He hated uncomfortable settings as they seem to cause tension, and tension was just something he did not like. After all, tension just clashed with his personality. He decided against asking her for a picture as it seemed she was uncomfortable with it. He wasn't one who forced people to do as he liked and so he went on with the flow. Though he doubted anyone else wold take backstage pictures of the crew as they were always so focused on the bad and not the people who get them ready and such. "Well I was, not for gossip, just you know behind the scenes with you working on the band members and such, of course you don't have to at all,"
he admitted, since he still had to tell her of what the heck he was supposed to be doing. He started to see that she was warming up to him and couldn't help to smile especially when she laughed. Jack hated making people feel uncomfortable and was glad that she was warming up to him and maybe talk more freely with him soon. "I for one, think a lot of things are better then gossip, but shh don't let my boss know that," he stated grinning. Oh, how his boss would murder him if he knew how he avoided getting into too bad of rumors and such. "True, but it can scare the crap out of me sometimes! I mean when I'm absorbed into doing something and someone just sneaks out I just freak. Maybe I watch too much horror movies?"He wanted the staff to be credited for the work they did, but he knew people would overlook them. It made him feel bad. When he was younger-like really young-he used to try to get everyone involved. It was a habit that carried on till now and won't seem to ever go away. "Oh, it's just a standard Canon camera. It was one of my favorite packed, not very fancy I know," he said smiling. No it would probably never catch the perfect shot since it was so old but he loved it because it was the first camera he had and he favored it out of all the ones the boss gave him to use.
