There was once a marvelous kingdom, not just the largest, but the oldest and strongest of them all. It was ruled by a strong, but fair king. Not even a king as strong as him could have lived forever though. It was one stormy night when a curse was set upon him and his family and the king fell dead.
It should have been his eldest son who took over the kingdom, but chaos and corruption came over the seven royal children. Their battle went on for days before they finally went their separate ways. Not only was the royal family split into seven that day, but so was the Kingdom. While each of his siblings left to create their own legacy, the oldest prince stayed right where he belonged, becoming king of Faylinn.
Centuries later, things within the seven kingdoms are changing. Queen Valerie, the second wife of the late King Christopher, now rules Faylinn. It is this cruel woman who is changing the lives of everyone forever, demanding that all youthful, pretty girls throughout the kingdom be brought to her. Imprisoning these girls, she cuts out their hearts and sacrifices them one by one. Some girls are lucky and manage to get away somehow, like hiding during raids on villages or running away.
There is hope though. Prince John, the rightful king of Faylinn, is rallying against his stepmother, splitting the kingdom of Faylinn into two and making it more and more difficult for this cruel queen and her men to take the lives of innocent girls. Each is determined to win this war, gaining allies in the kingdoms around them. But the question is, who will win and take the throne of Faylinn? And when it's all over... what will be left of these seven kingdoms?
