thunder only happens when it's raining...

I'm twenty two years old, a solo artist and I am on the verge of being broke. I am really just a sweet, gentle soul. Wouldn't do anything to hurt anyone around me. Not on purpose at least, I can be quite clumsy. But I am stubborn! I may get walked on a lot but if it gets in the way of me becoming a singer, forget it, I'm not going to do it. I'm very shy and am kinda awkward when I first meet people. Don't worry though, I'll warm up to you quick if I take a liking to you. Which I will, everyone has some good in them believe it or not.
About my music. I play guitar and sing. My genre is based off of a classic rock style. I simply love the era of 70's and 80's rock. It was the best by far. I could talk to you for hours on end (once I over come my shyness) about rock and roll. It's my passion and I want to bring a bit of it back into the modern day musical industry.
My history? Well, it's not exactly a fairy tale I'm afraid. I was born in Phoenix, Arizona in 1988 on May 26th to a single mother who was an immigrant from Germany. My father died before I was born in a car crash with my older sister as well. My mother raised my as best she could and pushed me to follow my dreams. I often struggled in school, especially in math, but was able to graduate and even get a college degree in Communications, ironically enough. During my teen years, I spent hours practicing my singing and guitar playing; and learning German, Mom insisted on it. I even got to meet my idol backstage when I turned 13! Mom was able to save up enough money for me to go to that concert for my birthday. We weren't very wealthy, unfortunately. I took as many chances as I got to play for people in public through out my childhood, and even in college. In bars, on the streets, in parks, any where really. I have a few songs in-writing and plan to make an album soon, in honor of my mother who recently passed away...
As for love? Ha, I've never been in it actually. Never had a true relationship with someone. There were a few guys here and there but none of it lasted. If I were looking for someone, they'd have to be willing to be patient with me. I open up kinda slow and even then, have a quirky sense of humor and spend days on end living out my dream. Patience and respect, is the two main things I guess. And him loving me for me also.
I enjoy more than music though. I love to paint, draw, or do anything crafty/artsy. I'm pretty good I think. Art just been one of those things I love because it's the one thing I can adjust to make it perfect.

Rhiannon rings like a bell through the night...
[atrb=border, 0, true][atrb=width,400,true][atrb=style,border-radius: 0em; -moz-border-radius: 0em;background-image:url(http://i589.photobucket.com/albums/ss334/Midori-chii/hair01.jpg), width 400px; height: 400px;]Rhi loves to meet new people. She can be dry and blunt at times but knows who to sugar coat things for and who can (and may need) to take a hit to their ego. She tries her best to carry herself with grace, and does a good job of it too. Can come across as very snarky and a little on the dumb side but is very street smart with lots of common sense. Rhi likes to take risks. Whether it be pulling a prank or trying to pull off some stunt, she's probably going to be the first one to offer to do it. Loves the thrill and knows that whatever her punishment may be, it can't last forever. Rhi actually almost got thrown in jail when she was in college for trying to spike some guy's drink who had cheated on her with some other girl. Thankfully he turned out to be ok and she didn't get into too much trouble aside from almost getting kicked off campus. Doesn't care at all what people think of her both physically and personally.
Can really dish out the sarcasm and wit and is pretty good when on the receiving end of it too. Thinks everything is a joke pretty much, the only thing she truly takes seriously is her music. Isn't much of a girly girl. Sure she loves to get all dressed up and such but isn't very preppy or bubbly. Her hair is either down in it's natural waves or up in a messy up-do. Doesn't waste time with a lot of makeup either.
She secretly wishes someone would stick with her so she'd have someone to talk to. Loves people but sometimes has issues connecting with others. Her pride often drives others away too.

History:
Rhiannon, who often goes by many nicknames such as: Rhi, Rhian, Ann, was born in Illinois in 1988 on October 31. She was named after her parent's favorite song, "Rhiannon", by Fleetwood Mac. Her parents were both musicians that traveled around quite a bit. They were never married and never turned into big stars or very well known, but they opened for legends like Joan Jett, Pat Benatar, Heart and Blondie. This inspired Rhi to become a musician, inheriting her mother's vocal and songwriting skills. Her father played the piano and guitar so she has basic knowledge on both of those as well. Her mannerisms on stage are centered around her microphone, not being very mobile. She watched her parents as a child and learned from them that way on how to present yourself on stage. Rhi was schooled by her parents on the road, therefore resulting in a not too great education. She did go to a community college though to get a degree.
Basically her parents and herself were a family of hippies. With a mom and dad that grew up in the 60's, it rubbed off on her and she is totally free spirited. Doesn't really care about much, just that she can care for her daily needs and such. Her relationship with her mom was very unusual. They were more like best friends than mother daughter. Once old enough (only 16 or 17), her mother and her would actually go out and party together with people in her parent's band or just anywhere really. Rhi isn't a drug or alcohol addict, but has had both before and enjoys some of it every now and then. She doesn't have intentions of trying to cut it out of her life anyway, in her mind, if it hasn't killed her by now, it won't anytime soon.
She's been singing for her entire life. The only life she's ever known is being on the road surrounded by musicians. Rhiannon practically grew up in a tour bus. She loved the traveling; getting to see so much all the time really kept her life interesting for her through out her child and teen years. Often, these memories inspire her very deep lyrics to her songs. She's an only child and had few friends growing up since she moved around a lot. Shockingly enough, she's very social and not awkward at all.
Eventually, her parents started fighting when she was 16 and went their own ways, not having to worry about divorce papers and such since they never were married in the first place. Rhi lived with her mother and hasn't seen her dad since the day he told her goodbye. Has written many songs about this and is deeply bothered about how her dad just up and left like that.

Color me your color, darling I know who you are...

Steph was born in 1990 on June 14. As a child, Stephanie was abused by her father. Her mother wasn't really any help either, she left when Stephanie was five. Her childhood was spent going to school until the eleventh grade. During that dreadful time, Stephanie did everything for her father. He forced her to dress like a skank for his own pleasure once she was old enough to have womanly features. During her teen years, Stephanie got herself a job being a waitress at a local cafe. Also, during this time in high school, a boyfriend she had got her hooked on cocaine and smoking. She refused at first, but he eventually got her to do it by calling her a pansy and scared to try new things. Stephanie did it out of anger and pride, and really regrets it now. Her main focus wasn't school anymore, it was music now. At school, she had been a part of a music club and was recognized as the best singer in school. Her few close friends she had and her teacher encouraged her to try and learn to play guitar. Also telling her that she should try and be a rocker. She had seen this slick guitar in a local instrument store and instantly started dreaming about being a star. Stephanie had always known she was a great, powerful singer but learning to play guitar would be even better. She worked very hard for a few months, balancing her school (very poorly, she often failed classes) and her job and eventually was able to make enough cash to buy her guitar. By the time Stephanie taught herself to play at a high level, she was eighteen and planning on running away from home. Dealing with her abusive father and acting like a prostitute for him was too much. She ended up dropping out of high school her senior year and ran away from home, setting her sights on becoming a singer.
After a few years of waiting tables and performing in gigs, Stephanie was finally noticed by the public. Her addictions, unfortunately, took up a lot of her salary. Her body kept sending her cravings and forcing her to buy drugs time and time again. Throughout her adult life she has been taking self defense classes. Steph is haunted by the things her dad did to her and doesn't want to have to risk putting up with that again. All in all she knows how to kick ass if it's needed.
Personality:
Steph is pretty much a badass. The men love her since she's also very flirty and kind of a slut too, but won't put up with overly aggressiveness. She knows she's attractive but doesn't always use it to get what she wants, professionally anyway. She will use it to get her way for things not related to her music/career.
She's very open minded about everything. Steph is always willing to try something new and take a risk. Has her moments of moral purity and is normally really honest. Doesn't sugar coat things at all, tells it how it is. Takes sympathy on people who are naive and innocent, knows that they too will one day see how cruel the world can be.
Fun Facts:
-Loves horses
-dances very well
-when she laughs hard enough, she snorts
-has glasses but always wears contacts
