JIMMI ZIGGS, 21, WAKEFIELD- LEAD GUITARIST, STRAIGHT, ANGRRY Jimmi Ziggs, born Jimmy Nathaniel Grier to Saorise O'Malley and Nathaniel Grier, was brought in to the world in Glasglow, Scotland. He had quite the rough upbringing, what with his alcoholic father and abused mother, he didn't have much of a happy childhood. Both his mother and himself got a tanning if his father came home from the pub either drunk, or angry, and they rarely did anything wrong. Jimmi's father was an angry man, and didn't have much of an upbringing himself, and took out his rage on his wife and child. This caused a rather rough rebellious streak when Jimmi entered his teens. At around fifteen he started smoking, as well as experimenting with drugs and alcohol. At around age seventeen, he was addicted to heroin, among other things. Along with the drugs, came one thing that junkies fear the most, horrible mood swings when they’re stung out, and since Jimmi was diagnosed with a mild form of Bi-polar disorder when he was younger, the swings were very severe. Most of the time, he became angry and raged at anything and everything that moved or looked at him wrong. When things at home didn't improve, he jumped ship from Glasglow to Portland, Oregon and met up with some people there and started a band. Unfortunately he was kicked out for unruly behavior and constant drug use, namely because he had kicked paparazzi, spit on people, told them to bugger off, thrown beer bottles at reporters...Just things like that that caused his almost immediate discharge from the group. He then moved to Boston for a short while, then he heard about a band that was having tryouts. Since he had been playing guitar since he was eleven years old and mastered the guitar by seventeen. He is very, very talented with his musical instrument, although he tends to spend most of his time with his drugs more then anything. Because he's addicted to heroin, however, it has turned him in a recluse, who often has dangerous moodswings, and he has been known to throw things and hurt people. When coming down, he becomes depressed to the point that every little thing is crappy and he usually hits the bottle to stop the feelings. The paparazzi hates him, ladies love him, if anything, he's the Sid Vicious of the new century. TONI, 18, PM |
