ABIGAIL LEE TORRES, EIGHTEEN, ALL THAT'S LOVE- RHYTHM GUITARIST, STRAIGHT, SWEETHEART so i'm thinking we should maybe just run away from here with no plan of coming back, we could stay away forever our anguished love will be all we have and i will save your life Abigail Lee Torres was born in Houston, Texas on April 12th. She is eighteen years old and currently survive highschool while juggling a band with her best friends. That band? All That's Love. It's her pride and joy, her baby. Abigail has always loved music. Always. Whether it be going to shows, supporting bands by wearing their merch everywhere she went, or just doing the simple things like buying their CDs. She's always been into the music crowd. Abigail and her family moved around a lot, and now they reside in god knows where. However, Abigail is eighteen now so she doesn't have to follow her parents around. She can be on her own now, to pursue her musical career full force. This was going to be an amazing senior year. Hah, amazing senior year? Yeah, right. Towards the beginning of the school year, Abigail began to ditch school more to practice with the band. Some weeks she wouldn't even know up at all. She began failing most of her classes, not that she cared, but her parents weren't going to have it. You see, her father is a level five alcoholic and her mother is obsessively protective over her. When her parents found out about her ditching class, her father began to beat her. Abigail always talked about moving out to finally get away from her father, who had hit her before. But when he found out that she was skipping almost 100% of her classes, drunk, of course, beat her. Almost to the point of death, Abigail left. She refuses to ever go back to where her father basically holds her mother captive, because she is just too scared to speak out against him. An eighteen year old girl shouldn't be living on her own, but she is. Her mother is paying for her rent in a small one-bedroom apartment across town, secretly, of course. Abigail is secretive about her personal life, and refuses to tell anyone. It's between herself, her mother, and her father. No one else. However, being beaten almost to death, Abigail has learned something from her experiences. She vowed to never, ever put someone down like her father did to her. She would be nothing but nice to anyone who walked her way, and she would help out anyone that seemed like they needed her help. She reached out to people, being the person she is, and offered to take time out of her already busy schedule to help others. Abigail almost always refuses to do anything just for herself, because she always feels like there's someone else that needs help more than she does. There is nothing she wants more in the world than to help others. Helping other people has lead her to her music. She hopes to inspire people with All That's Love. While she is just the rhythm guitarist, she often writes her own lyrics that she likes to sing. Solo projects have often come across her mind, but she is happy with what she does now. Writing music is her passion and her prose. Abigail also likes to write poetry to show her slightly dark side to things. While her songs are mostly about surviving life, the whole concept of it gets better, Abigail's poetry more resembles life and death, and the more darker aspects of life rather than the light. Lastly, Abigail is probably the sweetest person you will ever meet. If you just need someone to talk to, she's your girl. She's also the typical no sex, no drugs, no drinking type person. Especially drinking. Her father's alcoholism has made her despise any kind of alcohol, almost to the breaking point of ever seeing a bottle of wine. A common misconception with Abigail is that she has no substance. Nothing underneath a pretty face and a sweet as candy personality. No one knows, no one knows anything true about her. They don't know what goes on at home, no one has talked to her enough to care. KERRIE, SIXTEEN, AIM |
