There, the Volk family was very popular and very, very rich. Almost everyone in the country knew the Volk name, and Bastien was basically treated like royalty. Often, the royal treatment got to his head when he was younger, but he has learned from his mistakes now. Bastien got tired of the royalty, basically being able to get anything he wanted in a heart beat. Having people wait on him every moment got boring. So, he left. When he turned eighteen, Bastien took his inheritance and flew to San Diego where his home is now. Bastien had always been a guitar player. Being basically locked up in his room for years, a hobby wasn't easy to come by. When he was about fourteen, he requested a guitar and easily got it without trouble. He spent almost one-hundred percent of his time practicing his guitar, eventually teaching himself how to play. A skill that followed him into his early twenties, which lead into him joining a struggling band called Lips Like Morphine as their lead guitarist. PROTECTIVE: It isn't hard to see that Bastien is fairly protective over those he cares about. While he isn't very strong or very skilled at fighting per say, he would unquestioningly take a bullet for someone he loves. He refuses to let someone he cares about be taken away from him, which might lead to being a little clingy but he knows when to back off and give someone their space. He likes having people depend on them, and isn't very depending on others in return. He feels like he needs to be the protector over all of his friends and loved ones. He often takes the roll of the person in the background, watching from afar. EASILY JEALOUS: Being so protective over the ones he cares about, especially people that hold his heart in their hands, he gets jealous extremely easily. While he understands some people need space and are not completely dedicated to him, he feels he needs to be at someone's side most of the time. He can't really do anything alone, and always needs someone to be with him at all times. LOYAL: Bastien is extremely loyal as well as being protective. Especially with relationships. In the past, Bastien has fallen for someone and has taken their relationship one-hundred percent seriously. While the girl, was whoring around with other guys and didn't give a fuck about Bastien. He's dedicated to who he is with, and wouldn't ever think about cheating in a million years. Once you're considered a friend of Bastien, there's no changing that. He's hooked onto you for life, and no matter how much you hate him, he will always be loyal to you. SECRETIVE: Bastien tends to keep to the background quietly, not saying much but always watching. He doesn't approach people first, rather if they approach him he will happily engage in conversation. It is easy for him to make friends, but he doesn't tell them much. Bastien has learned from past experiences that if he shares his past with others, they will take advantage of him for his money. He has been used many times, which has lead to him rarely telling people about his financial situations and personal life. KERRIE, SIXTEEN, AIM
