478. - mandy taylor ------------------------------------------------------------------ Isaac pocketed the keys to his explorer, shoving the keys deep in the front pocket of his jeans, and making sure his wallet was securely placed in his back pocket. Closing the door to the maroon vehicle Isaac glanced up towards the door of the coffee house, seemingly rather empty for eight o'clock in the morning. Shifting from his vehicle and strutting towards the glass doors he easily pushed through them, welcoming the assault of the coffee aromas. This was perhaps one of his favorite places or things to do while they'd been on tour. While Isaac imagined most of the band he managed were sleeping off the night he was awake and ready to deal with the hell that was brought on by daylight. He'd faced a lot of criticisim about managing the girl band, most people saying he just did it because he got laid. Which wasn't true, Isaac hadn't slept with any of the girls in 'with your friends'. Yet.
Heading towards the small line formed in front of the cashier he focused his attention on the sign above the register, grimacing slightly at the prices of the over-rated coffee. Isaac was fairly sure his mother would have a near heart spasm if she knew just how much he spent on the dark liquid a month. In his opinion it was a much cheaper habit then getting wasted every night. Plus if he was consistently drunk Isaac wouldn't be able to keep his bands' name out of bad press as much as he did. Considering the daily girl drama that occured between them all he was still slightly shocked they held together so well. Shrugging off his thoughts as he listened to the pretty cashier behind the counter ask him for his order.
"I'll just get a medium decaf this morning, no condiments, thanks."
Opening up his wallet Isaac casually handed her the money for it and accepted his change back. Ignoring the way the cashier's eyes were glued to him he stood off to the side of the register awaiting his luxury of the morning. Considering his order was probably the easiest they'd had all morning he quickly recieved his drink. Turning Isaac stalked off towards a table near the window, allowing himself a look out at the morning rush as people attempted to hurry to their jobs. He dismally wondered if they enjoyed their jobs as much as he enjoyed his. With his job he was allowed to interact will nearly all kinds of people, and to make several impressive contacts. Not to mention it helped him to keep an eye on Mandy Taylor. Glaring at nothing in particular as her name crossed his mind Isaac began to indulge in his coffee, planning to pass the next thirty minutes in relative peace before diving once more into the fray that was the tour world.

theres a thunder in our hearts baby so much hate for the ones we love TAG: NAME OUTFIT: HERE ONE LAST THING: NOTES.
Unlike the rest of the girls Mandy hadn't been out drinking or partying the previous night and so she was awake fairly early in the morning. She got a long with the girls even though she was more the baby of the group, or at least thats what she felt like half the time. It made her wonder if she would ever get out there and do something stupid, for the most part she was a logical thinker and wasn't very rash with her decisions. Crawling out of her bed she slipped on some black sweat pants and a tightly fitting shirt that barely showed her belly button. Putting on a jacket she grabbed her purse and headed out of the bus hoping not to wake any one. The last thing she wanted was 5 bitchy hung over girls yelling at her, all the PMSing was quite difficult to deal with.
Normally she would have gotten dressed in more decent clothes but she was still a bit sleepy and at the moment didn't care. Her one mission was to find a place to go buy some movies and look into a new laptop. Lets face it they had a poor selection of movies on the bus and Mandy was easily bored with watching chick flicks all the time. It wasn't long until she found herself wondering around town, it had been a pretty long walk actually. Mandy was distracted by a familiar face in one of the coffee shops. Coffee really wasn't her thing but she felt herself being drawn inside to be with Isaac. Not wanting to look like she came in just to see him she ordered a coffee, knowing very well she would not drink most of it.
" white chocolate mocha, please" she said.
As she received her drink she scanned the room which actually had a decent amount of people sitting around, drinking and talking. Slowly making her way to the table where Isaac was she took a seat in the empty seat. Today wasn't a happy day for Mandy, It was the anniversary of her parents death. It was the worse day of the year for her as it always brought back those bad memories of losing them. That was part of the reason she was up so early, she would start to think about it and then get all worked up. Though she never let any one see her cry. Your up early she said putting on a obviously fake smile. It was weird to think she was in love with the boy she used to hate, and would fight with most of her life. Maybe its true opposites do attract? Even if they had their difference he had always been there and was a familiar face to cling to.

422. - mandy taylor ------------------------------------------------------------------ Isaac sat calmly, looking into the dark abyss of his coffee as if it held all the answers. If only. The last few months had perhaps been the most complicated and suffocating in his life. One problem arose after another. Yet here he was, finally on tour with a band he'd thought wouldn't last long. Yet he'd given the girls his best effort, marketed, dealed, covered-up, and not to mention gave many of them advil and gatorade the morning after a rough night. Isaac had felt it his job to at least offer some shelter to the loose females, especially Mandy who had confounded him at every turn. Yet Isaac knew he shouldn't be so suprised, they'd practically grown up with each other with the amount of time they spent together yet for so many years he'd never been able to stand her. Mandy was always something that was off-limits, better then him. Even as a kid he remembered being infatuated with the little girl she was, yet she'd always say the damndest things or he'd pull her hair too hard and the fight was on.
Smiling at the memories Isaac glanced up as she suddenly filled the seat across from him and he caught the forced smile on her beautiful face. A part of him silently ached for her, for the loss she'd had to experience so young. Even after it had happened Isaac had always made sure to not pester her on this exact date for years after. He guessed that was possibly one of the reasons that she may have ever been able to feel something more for him. Isaac knew that while he may not know how it felt, Mandy knew he would always be there even after when her parents couldn't. It made him a rock, and he was more then willing to protect the girl before him.
"Well good morning beautiful. And yeah, I decided I'd had enough beauty sleep."
Giving her a wolfish grin Isaac attempted to maintain a happy appearance. He'd loved her parents as family too, yet he knew they wouldn't want to see Mandy suffering. So he'd made it his sole duty to cheer her on the bad days. With this anniversary Isaac knew it'd be a difficult task but he surmised that Mandy may need someone to talk to, and someone to make her happy even through all the left-behind hurt. Reaching across the table Isaac sought to hold her hand, offering not only his emotion support but some physical as well.
"Shitty day, eh?"

theres a thunder in our hearts baby so much hate for the ones we love TAG: NAME OUTFIT: HERE ONE LAST THING: NOTES.
The one thing that Mandy hated about touring and this life style was all the judging and assumptions people made. Sometimes it hit her hard, especially when the words such as whore or slut were used. How did dressing a certain way make her a slut, it wasn't like she was sleeping around or getting drunk and making a fool out of herself at the bar. No, that wasn't her at all. She knew she had to suck it up because it was all business and if you couldn't handle the critique then you would never survive. One thing she learned was that the world was a cruel place and you had to litterly fight for what you want. Even though she had been told that if she wanted to make it in the music industry sometimes you had to play dirty. Playing dirty to Mandy was making mud pies after it had rained. So luckily for Mandy she usually stayed under the radar and didn't get to much criticism from people.
Swirly the hot cup in her hand to mix up the white chocolate and coffee, they never seemed to mix it all the way. You would get close to the bottom and would get a strong taste of the syrup and then end up throwing the rest away. You would think it would be common sense to mix the syrup and coffee, but no they hardly ever did. Mandy squinted her eyes as some of the hot coffee came out of the hole in the lid and onto her hand. Ouch she said as she reached for a napkin. It hadn't hurt for more then a few seconds though as it wasn't actually enough to burn. I don't think the beauty sleep is helping you any she said a smirk sneaking onto her face. Growing up Isaac had always played a little to rough with her, and she imagined that was why she had disliked him for so long. Thinking back though she couldn't remember doing much more then cry when he was being mean to her. Every once and a while she would get the courage to start arguing with him.
shitty day, eh? she heard him ask. Ya well you know, I just really miss them. Sometimes its hard to believe they are gone. she said. Her free hand slid across the table and she laced her fingers in with his. I think they would have a heart attack, if they knew what i was doing she said as the thought brought a smile to her face. Her father would defiantly voice his disapproval, but her mom while not agreeing with it at all would have supported her. Unlike her grandparents who just tossed her to the side and didn't even acknowledge that she was part of the family any more. How are your parents? she asked. Mandy had talked to his mother several times while on tour, growing up, especially after she lost her mom. Mandy had always admired and looked up to her.

417. - mandy taylor ------------------------------------------------------------------ He watched Mandy, frowning slightly when she burned her hand with the coffee. Yet before he could help her she'd already grabbed a napkin and seemed over the incident. The changes that were happening between them still shocked Isaac. He still couldn't grasp his feelings for Mandy and the intensity of them. At times he wanted to wrap her up in a cocoon and protect her from all the bad things in the world yet Isaac had never been able to protect her and Mandy had faced a hell of a lot of bad. He grew silent as she spoke about missing her parents, empathy in his soft hues. He understood how she felt, yet he knew what he felt at the loss of her parents was nothing in comparison to the hell she'd went through because of it.
"Yea I'm sure they would, I mean dating a rascal like me. No one saw that one coming." Isaac winked at her, his jest and attempt to help her get over the rough conversation. He wasn't here to drag her down, if anything Isaac wanted to support her and care for her. It'd egged him on in getting the job as her band's manager, though he'd willingly admit he was beginning to get a dark jealous feeling whenever men commented about her innocent act to him. They didn't know shit about Mandy, and Isaac adored her for far longer then what he wanted to admit. So maybe when they were kids he'd pulled her braids harder then was acceptable but Isaac knew that underneath the front he'd put on when they were together that he'd felt something, even if it was a weaker version of what he felt for her now.
Taking a calming sip of his coffee he allowed the liquid to warm his mouth and throat as he smiled at Mandy. Today of all days Isaac knew she'd need him. "She's nagging me about when I'll abduct you and go see them. You should give her a call sometime, I'm not sure she understands the whole 'tour' thing." Isaac's parents were a bit shielded when it came to his end of the music spectrum. They didn't really understand much about touring and all it involved and what a time commitment it was. Isaac's mother listened to drab classical music and his father still thought that ancient country songs where cool. Letting out a breath Isaac gave Mandy a wolfish grin. "What would you like to do today m'lady?"

theres a thunder in our hearts baby so much hate for the ones we love TAG: NAME OUTFIT: HERE ONE LAST THING: NOTES.
The funny thing was that for some reason it seemed like their parents always knew they would end up together, some way somehow. Mandy would come crying to her parents that Isaac was pulling her hair or doing something mean to her and that she didn’t want to play with him anymore because he was a gross boy. Ick cuties! After the laughter had died down her parents response would always be the same “ It’s okay Mandy, One day you will want him around” Mandy would just laugh and walk off, usually to go endure some more torment from Isaac because she was told she still had to play with him as it wasn’t quite time to go home yet. Then as they got older in their middle school and high school years any time she complained about them they would just tell her that he was only mean to her because he had a crush on her. That just seemed like a stupid cliché that everyone told their daughters if a boy was mean to them. Though considering the fact that Isaac and Mandy were now together, was it really the truth or was it just a coincidence? It seemed like her parents knew that they would end up together some day.
After her parents had passed away that’s when she started to be more thankful about having Isaac and his family around. That one major event made her change her whole outlook on life and the people around her. Even though they still had their moments, it was at that moment that she realized she did want him around. Even after their death she found that she kept trying to please her parents, she wanted them to be proud of her. Though she didn’t think they would approve of what she was doing. At least if she screwed everything else up in her life, she knew she did right with Isaac. Her parents would be joyous about that. Mandy could just hear the “I told ya so’s” from her parents playing through her head. After her grandparents stopped talking to her and pretty much disowned her that was when she knew that she had to stop pleasing other people and well just go with the flow and make herself happy. People would either follow in line or just fall off the tracks. It’s not like she wanted to lose the people she was closest to but if she was always trying to make other people happy she knew she wouldn’t be able to make herself happy.
My parents loved you, they would be thrilled. I have a feeling the wedding would already be planned and the children’s names picked out she joked. Her parents were always planners and tended to get way ahead of themselves. The thoughts filled her mind, being a very girlie girl she had planned out her dream wedding when she was very young. Even then Isaac had been her groom in her imagination. It wasn’t because she liked him, but he was the only boy she really knew and she just had to put a face on the character in her dream wedding. Sure as she got older this dream changed, no longer did she want to ride in on a unicorn wearing a sparkly pink wedding dress. Thinking of all this had Mandy feeling slightly home sick. She missed her small apartment back home, Isaacs’s parents, and even her grandparents who she longed to talk to so much but knew they wouldn’t talk to her.
We do need to try and sneak away sometime and make a quick visit back home. Ya I’ll have to try and give her a call tonight after practice. You know, id send her pictures or something but I’d be scared she would have a heart attack after seeing our lack of clothing she said, knowing that it would be hard to get away during the tour, but there had to be a stop somewhere close to their home where they could at least get away for a few hours or maybe a day. It would be their first time home as a couple. Mandy felt extremely weird keeping it a secret from everyone else. It was just one of those things, that they had been fighting for years and now telling everyone they were together it just seemed weird. Plus she didn’t really want any attention added to her, as soon as word caught on that she was sleeping with the manager it would be hell. Okay so she wasn’t sleeping with him, but with every ones view of her they would just assume that. Oh what a lovely life.
What did she want to do? Oh man she had no idea once so ever, as she hadn’t really thought about it. In fact what had she planned on doing when she set out that morning? Her mind was blank and now it was irritating her that she couldn’t remember what she had wanted to do. Isaac apparently just seemed to rid her thoughts of everything but him. That’s when it hit her Well I was heading to the store and then to get some movies. What do you say about pizza and a movie before practice? she asked. .

565. - mandy taylor ------------------------------------------------------------------ Isaac watched Many closely, his dark hues focused on her beautiful face. In part he regretted what an ass he could be to her when he was younger, but if he'd been kind he'd probably have entered the 'friend zone' as it was so deemed. And then he wouldn't be here with her now, frightened at the thought of admitting his love for her. Isaac had always loved Mandy, loved teasing her, loved picking on her, and now he loved her in a way that he was unable to describe. Grinning at her as she spoke of her parents so fondly he nodded and spoke up. "I know! Our poor future childern would have names like Alfie and Bob. And our wedding would have so many flowers that I'd choke and pass out, and then your dad and my dad would've given me the talk about wedding jitters and how if I leave you at the alter I'm in big trouble, when really it'd be because of the damn aroma." Isaac winked at Mandy, clearly once more lightly teasing her. He supposed old habits died hard, yet Isaac would never hurt her. He knew when to knock it off and when she needed it. Isaac knew today was the day to keep Mandy laughing and smiling, it's what her parents would've expected of him.
As she spoke of going to see his parents Isaac took a moment to think that through. He was sure in a few weeks they'd be close enough to his and Mandy's hometown that they could sneak away for the day, if not the night. The idea of spending a whole night with Mandy without having to watch out for snooping eyes brought a grin to his lips. "That's the best idea you've had all day. I'll have to check out the schedule but I think here in a couple weeks we'll only be an hours' drive away. And you calling her will make her whole week, but hold off on mentioning us coming to visit possibly, cause then she'll drive my dad crazy baking cookies and cakes." Isaac's mom while a prominent business woman, always enjoyed baking and used the littlest excuse to fill the kitchen with many sugary goods. As most women who loved baking, his sweet mother when over the top with it. "I think my dad would have our heads if we told her this early cause she'd have him testing out new recipes." Grinning at the thought of his mother who was always trying to make the next best cookie or cake recipe he reached over to squeeze Mandy's hand. "Remember the time she made cupcakes and put cayenne pepper in them and declared them 'spice cupcakes'?" A fond memory of Isaac's was that day when Mandy and her parents were over and they'd all taken a cupcake from Isaac's mom and all had taken big bites only to find out that cayenne pepper had been put into them. Isaac and his dad had lost their cool laughing while his mom and started shouting and attempting to get the trio a glass of water. "I could go for some pizza and a movie. You ready hon?" Isaac moved off of his chair, downing the rest of his coffee before tossing the empty cup in a nearby trash can before offering his palm to Mandy to take.
