As the music blasted through the speakers, Nana let a faint smile fall on her face as she threw her thin arms up in the air. She couldn't remember, for the life of her, where she left her white blazer. It cost two hundred and thirty seven dollars...but whatever. The tall and leggy blonde wore a floral print bralet which accentuation her chest and showed off her concave and lean abdomen before her low rise leather pants appeared and clung to her legs. Scarlet pumps were on her feet and her hair was in it's natural beach wave loose curls and spilling around her face like a golden halo as she moved her hips and shook her head with the beat in the center of the dance floor. She'd taken enough pills to keep her smiling effortlessly as she seemed to move like a serpent, not caring if cameras were flashing or other gaped at her. It was just her and the music how it was always supposed to be. It didn't matter who was watching. It was about the music in her bones, feeling alive, something she wouldn't want to give up for the world.
She mouthed the words to herself as she moved, feeling like all the colors meshed in with each other and all the faces were blurred into one large smudge. She spun with the beat, feeling the bodies around her and she smiled. This was the life she wanted, all the vivacity, the beauty, how it all fell into one big melting pot, how it was nothing like her life in Barbados. This was all about fun and nothing about taking anything seriously. Live fast. Die young-as late as possible. Feeling hands on her hips, she leaned into the person and danced with them shameless but after a good hour of dancing to fast paced music and indulging in more than enough pills and alcohol to keep her satisfied, she made it out the door, surprisingly with no one in tow. She didn't really want anyone tonight. She was good on her own-wasn't she always?
No, she wasn't always okay but that didn't matter. She'd gotten everything she ever wanted and she never planned on letting it go. Pulling out a cheap cigarette from her back pocket, she lit up and took a deep drag as she felt the cold night air hit her face. She smiled as she let the smoke out and relaxed against the brick wall. It was so late...or was it so early? that there was no longer a bouncer and no longer a line. It was empty outside and she could feel her shoulder blades digging into the side of the building but she ignored it-also ignoring the fact she wasn't wearing much on her upper half. She didn't care-whatever. She liked it. In a way, fashion was how Nana expressed herself since she wasn't all that great at talking in the first place. Her bright blue eyes, a bit clouded over from the drug use, landed on someone who had come up to her and she arched an eyebrow while taking another drag before they asked her for something. A cigarette? Did she know the person? She couldn't tell and she shrugged it off, reaching into her back pocket to hand one to them without any hesitation

if i leave my heart with you tonight promise me that you're gonna treat it right. | The day had been a long one filled with band practise and her normal afternoon of drinking herself silly. Kate was a alcoholic, though she wasn't a violent drunk, she acted more like a silly 5 year old girl then anything else. It was quite entertaining, she always made people smile and laugh wherever she went. Even when she wasn't drunk. The girl was overly friendly and social, she tried to make every one her friend and would just blow of the people who went interested or bored her to much. Kate was a good person to have around if you wanted a friend for life and didn't mind her slight immaturity and living life on the edge. Several times she had dragged her friends a long and they would end up in the back of a police car, getting drunk and doing stupid shit wasn't the best idea. For some reason she never seemed to learn though.
Tossing the cigarette she had in her hand on the ground, she smashed it with her foot putting it out. Kate had taken a shower before she left so her hair was tossed up in a messy wet pony tail and was starting to curl. She hated her hair when it was wet, because it curled and then became extremely unmanageable. The clothes she wore were nothing more then a long graphic T that said "Don't fuck with me" and a pair of short shorts. She honestly looked as if she had just woken up or something. Kate hadn't planned on partying or really doing anything all that fun tonight. She was waisted and was trying to walk it off, as she explored the town. Since she had never been here before, it was one wrong turn after another. Making the mistake of turning down a creepy ally way, she spotted some guys that shouted some crude sexually remarks at her. Kate being the drunk idiot that she was told them to fuck off. The looks on their faces looked pissed and so she realized she needed to get out of there and scurried her way over to wear the loud music was beating from the walls. It was so loud that you could almost feel the vibrations on the sidewalk.
The blond standing on the street seemed to strike Kate's interest. Sneaking up behind her she put her hands in front of Nana's eyes. Guess who? she playfully whispered in her ears. Cutting her to the chase, kate answered her own question without letting nana speak. Okay, Okay its Kate she said slightly slurring her words. She emitted a school girl giggle as she moved into Nana's view. The alcohol made her quite giddy tonight and she was up for something exciting and fun, maybe even adventures. Kate was so glad to be with Nana again, when she left California the one person she had missed was the blond haired girl. Letters and talking over the phone just didn't seem to make the distance any better. Being on tour together had made Kate so happy, she had made lots of great friends but Nana, was Nana and was a irreplaceable friend to Kate. Though lately Kate had some strange feelings for Nana and was unable to explain or show them. Or maybe it was just that she didn't want to admit them and be scared of getting hurt.

She felt hands covering her eyes and she didn't say anything, just brought the cancer stick up to her lips and took another deep drag. By the time she was blowing the smoke out through her full lips painted a pastel pink, the person had revealed who they were. Looking over at the female she hadn't recognized at first, a grin grew on her face. Kate. With her dark hair and hippie-esque features that always made Nana think they were back in the 60's. Or maybe she was more hipster? More indie? She didn't know but she loved the blast of vintage and modern that her features gave off. It wasn't her clothing-it was her. It wasn't a feeling she wasn't used to, her attraction to someone as untouchable as Kate. They were friends and Nana was sure she was straight. Nana knew, personally, that she wasn't. She didn't care of you were a tranny. If you were attractive and helped produce a good time, she had no problem returning the favor.
Without thinking much about it, she gently grabbed Kate's chin so she could look her right in the eyes. Nana was taller, always had been since she was all limbs, but she liked that Kate was shorter. It made her seem cuter in more ways than one, "What if I were an evil ax murderer," she joked, her Barbados accent strong and relentless as she spoke her words slowly, much too hopped up on pills and alcohol to speak normally...not like she spoke much in the first place. She only ever talked to certain people a lot like Jav and Kate here-sometimes maybe her manager if she absolutely had to. "Aren't you glad I'm not?" she leaned in and placed a kiss partially on her cheek and partially on her lips. She was just being a tease and testing the waters. Letting her go, she took another drag, "So what are we doing tonight?" That was how their conversations used to always start. Nana would call ehr and without even saying hello, she'd be blunt and cut to the chase, asking her what they were going to do. Usually, it involved getting fucked up and ending up somewhere they couldn't remember for the life of them. Like the one time Nana stole her husband's prized Porsche and they drove up and down the coast, blasting music with a couple of friends following behind and next to them, and singing at the top of their lungs. It was easy to get away with it. Her husband, then, was powerful enough to keep all their names out of the paper and for them not to whined up in jail. Nana had taken advantage of him completely but he'd taken advantage of her beauty, her youth, her body...so she felt no remorse when she signed the divorce papers. He was getting boring anyway. Too old for her taste at that point.

if i leave my heart with you tonight promise me that you're gonna treat it right. | It wouldn't have been the first time Kate had gone up and surprised some one who she didn't know, thinking it was a friend of hers. It was a wonder she never tried to surprise a creep or something. Kate being Naive would probably welcome a stalker or killer in with open arms, of course not realizing what they really were. Oh to be young and stupid! Guess that's what happens when your brain isn't fully functioning from drinking or doing drugs. Though sometimes Kate wondered if her brain was functioning at all even when she wasn't drunk. The girl was all over the place not being able to remember where her sunglasses were even though they were on her head, or tripping over lines on the sidewalk.
Her eyes opened wide as a smirk played across her face. Why Nana, your to beautiful to be a killer she said. It was true, how many moves have you seen here the killer was a beautiful blond. They were either guys or creepy older/ugly woman. Plus Nana being a drugs would not make her the smartest killer. Kate felt like a shrimp next to Nana, she was short and scrawny. In fact Kate's mom, had enrolled Kate a year late into school because she was a shrimp. Kate's emotions instantly started to get the best of her as Nana kissed her. Even though she knew Nana was just playing around, it just made Kate even more confused. She never had a problem with people liking the same sex, in fact she thought every one should be free to love who they wanted to. But she had always considered herself straight, at least until Nana came a long. The blond just blew Kate away, and she had no idea how to act or express her feelings. What could they do tonight? she asked herself. Both girls were clearly not in the right state of mind, and Kate knew that what ever they ended up doing they would probably end up in trouble or lost in some creepy Forrest where a sparkly vampire might attack them.
Nana, I..... she said wanting to tell Nana that is was possible that she had feelings for her, but she just wasn't sure and didn't want something to happen before she had a chance to figure out if they were real feelings or just a phase. Never mind she said looking down at the ground as she kicked a stone off the sidewalk and out onto the street. With a yawn she stretched her arms out above her head and then relaxed them at her side. Well I was heading to the store... or at least I think that's were i was heading... i kinda forgot she said with a small laugh. I have to get some shopping done for Christmas and the bus, do you want to come? she asked. Kate was prepared to be kicked out of the store with all the ruckus that her and Nana would probably reek on the poor customers and employees.
