Okay so she wasn't locked in she could go and come as she pleased but she chose to stay in while every one else went out and explored. There was no concerts and the day was free to do pretty much whatever you wanted to with. Kate was laying on the couch looking terrified at the TV screen which had the rolling credits of "The Ring" playing. She had no idea why she had decided to watch a scary movie by herself. Horror movies were her absolute favorite and she could watch them all the time, however she was usually a bit to chicken to watch them by herself and so would try and convince one of her band mates or friends on tour to watch with her. Most people didn't find the ring scary but for some reason it terrified her, yes sometimes she could be a big sissy.
Practically dragging herself off of the couch she turned off the TV and looked at the time. It was nearly 10 PM and she was sort of bummed that she hadn't really gone and done anything or accomplished anything for the day. Though the only thing that struck her fancy for that time of the night was dancing and drinking, while listening to over played pop music at clubs. As she scurried to get herself dressed she found a clean pair of paints and a slightly revealing halter top. Kate was pretty Promiscuous but she wasn't a complete whore and liked to leave a little bit up to the imagination. She was fast at getting ready and wasn't the type of girl to spend hours on her look. Pull your clothes on, throw your hair up in a messy pony tail, and slap on a small amount of make up. Was it really all that hard?
Before walking out the door she grabbed her jacket as it was kinda chilly outside and she knew she would have to walk to find the club, god thing she had gotten directions earlier that day. Kate figured there would be some other bands members there considering it was the closest club. Mostly she just wanted to get waisted and do something completely stupid, yep that was Kate the drunk girl that was always getting in trouble. The walk seemed to take longer then it actually was, but once inside the club she found that it was completely packed full of people dancing like complete idiots. Her first stop was up at the bar where she ordered a drink. |

There were only three places that Javier Lionford was ever found, all of which were very predictable based on his personality: a bed (he wouldn’t specify because it often varied between his own bed or that of one of his lady friends), the tour bus for DJ Gross, or in a club. It seemed that today was one of those days when the lattermost was his setting of choice.
It was a fairly quiet night, though he supposed he thought so because he hadn’t awoken to a pretty face nor was a gig planned for the band. He was rather disappointed partially because he did have a love for music and being onstage, but most of it was likely because he felt like he had been deprived of his daily flirting for the day. He had a habit of shamelessly hitting on his fans and critics alike (the pretty female ones, at least), and with nothing available to offer the opportunity to do so, the only thing left for him to do was to head out to a nightclub. It wasn’t as if he really minded though. Why would he? He would be surrounded by women, most of whom would likely be very willing to spend the night with him, as well as part animals and a seemingly endless supply of alcohol.
One might question if Jav would feel uncomfortable going to a nightclub in Cincinnati. After all, it was his first time in this Ohio city, but he had moved enough to know that people were all pretty alike despite living in different places. In his younger years, he hadn’t seen much of the world, but by the time he was around sixteen, he was constantly on his feet, moving around just because he wanted something to do. Actions kept his thoughts preoccupied, and that meant he wouldn’t have to force himself to keep from reminiscing and reflecting on everything he secretly hated about himself. Socializing grew to be something that was second nature to him, so he rarely had any worries about how others would perceive him when he first showed up. The same attitude applied now.
After tugging on a wrinkled graphic Tee and a pair of jeans, he headed out to a club he knew had existed but thus far had been too busy to actually frequent. He was met with the familiar sight of drunkards, druggies, and stragglers pouring in and out of the club doors and the familiar scent of alcohol that he would inevitably sport by the end of the night. A hint of an easy grin formed on his lips, and he strolled in with a careless gait, anticipating what he expected to be an entertaining night. His first stop was the bar, and it was there that he saw a familiar face. Sliding next to her, he decided that she looked pretty good in halter tops, but it would be rude to stare, so he kept his gaze trained on her face as he nudged her playfully and commented, "Hey, Kate. Didn’t think I’d run into you here tonight."

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width: 505px; -moz-border-radius: 0 185 185 0px;background-color:#09281d;] so we burst into colours ---------------------------------------- colours and carousels, fall head first, like paper planes & play ground games -------- The bartender was swamped with orders and also seemed to be slightly new to the job. She felt slightly sorry for him as it was a busy night and people were trying to order things left and right and the poor guy just could keep up. One guy who was already obviously drunk got the wrong drink, and in a drunken rage through the drink on the bartender and stormed off in the other direction. Why couldn't every one be a happy drunk like Kate? Sure she got in trouble a lot and did stupid things but she was always happy like a little kid at Christmas. Every once and a while she would get emotional and start crying over the smallest things, like one time she killed a spider and then was told that the spider could have been a re-reincarnation of Jesus. Being extremely gullible and out of her mind when she was drunk, she had burst out in tears. Ya ya she was a odd ball, but she just couldn't help herself. She was making up for lost time as a child.
As the music played loudly, Kate stood at the bar and swayed her body back and forth to the music. Kate was getting impatient she had wanted a simple water, and it was taking forever just to get it. Kat was trying to stay some what sober tonight, well okay that plan probably wouldn't last to long. One drink, would turn into two and so on. By the end of the night she would be so drunk she would be literaly crawling back to the tour bus, maybe howling at the moon. Who knows? people did weird shit when they were drunk. Kate quickly turned to look in the direction of a very familiar voice calling her name. Hey Handsome, why so surprised I'm always out partying. she said. Kate enjoyed Javier's company mainly because he was entertaining and she knew it would never be a dull time with him around. She was always out doing something the girl rarely was sitting around doing nothing. Playing her bass, band practise, shows, partying, drinking, shopping. Kate just liked to keep herself busy, plus it kept life entertaining.
Just thought id have some fun before things get to busy she said. It was just the beginning of tour and once it got into full things they would be pretty busy.

Aside from being an avid partygoer, Jav had spent a decent amount of time being a bartender before his days as a semi-aspiring rockstar who sang profanities and sexual innuendos to irk parents. Therefore, it was nearly nostalgic to stare at the overwhelmed bartender currently working the night shift. He felt a bit of pity for the poor guy because he knew that the dinnertime surge of customers could be pretty hard to keep up with. He also knew from many first-hand experiences that some drunks were unbearable to deal with; that was why his favourite drunks were the silly or flirty kinds while his least favourite were the angry, temperamental ones. His point was proven to be one that was fairly made when one particularly irritated drunkard grew infuriated that he had not received the correct order and then proceeded to dispose of the contents in his glass upon the head of the unfortunate bartender.
Out of some sort of shared sympathy, Jav briefly considered tailing along after man in order to give him a nice beating to teach him about manners and proper behaviour towards one’s local beverage server, but the sight of Kate kept him rooted in his spot. For another fleeting moment, he considered perhaps just helping out the poor guy, but the uncharacteristic spark of compassion vanished as quickly as it appeared. Besides, the kid needed to learn how to handle the job by himself. After having decided upon that, he redirected his attention on the pretty brunette that he struck up a conversation with.
Grinning, he was clearly pleased by the praise directed toward his looks. From a shallow standpoint, he liked compliments because it was a pleasant boost to his already oversized ego. From a more therapeutic standpoint, he probably liked them because he never received enough from what he called his “neglectful, good-for-nothing” father and his overly busy mother. He knocked the occupant out of the barstool next to hers and ignored the little protest he heard as he sat down, turning slightly to face her. Usually, he would have ordered a drink by now, but something told him that he wouldn’t get it anytime soon with the chaotic way things were running.
Shrugging in the nonchalant manner he seemed to sport so often, he replied, "Touché. You made a good point. Guess it’s just been too long since I last got to hang out with you."
[/color] He nodded along to her second point, understanding the desire to enjoy oneself while free time was still a plausible concept. Not that he really understood being busy, though. Time—or rather the lack thereof—was never really an issue for him. He was too lax to allow anything to stress him out, and he was too uncaring to ever take on any unnecessary workloads.
