COLEEN MARIE MARX, 23, SOLOIST, BISEXUAL, BUTCH PERSONALITY: Coleen is to say the least, loud, witty, sarcastic and opinionated. She can almost always be found making dry, blunt remarks and being pretty insensitive. Often comes across as quite the bitch at first, and may actually be seen as very butch too. She's not lesbian but is rumored to be bisexual. She has a rough, tomboyish personality and never really has any sense of commitment. Her harshness is something that she naturally puts up as a psychological defense system. Coleen as a child, was often picked on and bullied so she really just sees everyone as someone to be cautious of. Coleen's pride often gets in the way of her judgement. She was pushed into trying drugs in high school and has been hooked on them since then. She is secretly ashamed of her addictions but is too proud to admit she messed up and let someone walk over her and push her into doing it. She's serious about her music. Anyone who pokes fun at or disses her music is in for some serious trouble. Coleen will not hesitate to get into a fist fight with someone, she's very aggressive. She dresses like a punk, rocker chick. Leather vests and skinny jeans with the black eye liner and short, spiky hair, the whole shebang. She's very thin and stands at five foot six. Her career is her biggest passion and Coleen gladly lives it as a lifestyle day after day. She's actually a pretty well known rocker. Coleen, despite her rough personality, doesn't get cocky about her status. Being famous is her dream and she knows she's been blessed with a successful career. Coleen was also blessed with being an attractive woman. She never flaunts it though, knows that being a whore isn't going to make anything better. HISTORY: Born on October 30th, 1988. As a child, Coleen was abused by her father. Her mother wasn't really any help either, she left when Coleen was five. Her childhood was spent going to school until the eleventh grade. During that dreadful time, Coleen did everything for her father. He forced her to dress like a skank for his own pleasure once she was old enough to have womanly features. During her teen years, Coleen got herself a job being a waitress at a local cafe. Also, during this time in high school, a boyfriend she had got her hooked on cocaine and smoking. She refused at first, but he eventually got her to do it by calling her a pansy and scared to try new things. Coleen did it out of anger and pride, and really regrets it now. Her main focus wasn't school anymore, it was music now. At school, she had been a part of a music club and was recognized as the best singer in school. Her few close friends she had and her teacher encouraged her to try and learn to play guitar. Also telling her that she should try and be a rocker. She had seen this slick guitar in a local instrument store and instantly started dreaming about being a star. Coleen had always known she was a great, powerful singer but learning to play guitar would be even better. She worked very hard for a few months, balancing her school (very poorly, she often failed classes) and her job and eventually was able to make enough cash to buy her guitar. By the time Coleen taught herself to play at a high level, she was eighteen and planning on running away from home. Dealing with her abusive father and acting like a prostitute for him was too much. She ended up dropping out of high school her senior year and ran away from home, setting her sights on becoming a singer. After a few years of waiting tables and performing in gigs, Coleen was finally noticed by the public. Her addictions, unfortunately, took up a lot of her salary. Her body kept sending her cravings and forcing her to buy drugs time and time again. LORENE, 15, PM |
