DOMINIK JOSHUA BRANDT, TWENTY TWO, WAKEFIELD- VOCALIST, STRAIGHT, COMPLICATED Dom's mom died during childbirth leaving Dom and his older brother Jax to be raised by their father. Dom's dad was a good man, he worked hard and they lived a pretty good life. Though Dom was pushed hard to exceed especially in school. Doms Brother Jax was always a trouble maker and had been the first one to show interest in music. Jax joined a band but it didn't last long, he had always dreamed of making it big and having the life of luxury. Dom being young he wanted to be just like his older brother and he soon found that he actually really loved singing and playing a guitar. Both boys always seemed to fight over the same things, and it started out as friendly competition but over the years it turned into a hatred of one another. He was pushed to go to college after high school, so that he could find a real career as his father so put it. Being the baby of the family Dom always wanted to please his father and so he gave up music and went to college. He lasted for about a year, it just wasn't what he wanted to do and wasn't making him happy. So against his fathers wishes Dom picked up the guitar again and auditioned for several bands looking for a singer or guitar player. Dom was born and raised his whole life in Germany up until a 3 years ago, when he was invited to join a band in the states. It was a huge risk for him to pack up his things a travel all the way there, but he would do anything to pursue his passion. It was hard building a new life in the states but he managed to do so. Being a level headed guy Dom tries to make the best of every situation but always looks at the reality of things. Not afraid to take risks if he thinks they are worth it, and would go to the end of the world and back for a true friend. He comes off as some what quiet around people who don't know him well but very observant of his surroundings. Dom likes to have fun and will drink on occasion, but this guy doesn't need to be drunk to be the life of a party. He is a charmer with the ladies and is usually a complete gentleman, he is just a big teddy bear. When he gets drunk though he tends to be a complete ass, and gets some what violent. Which is why he doesn't drink often. Dom has a sort of confident and some what arrogant look about. He thinks highly of himself ( but not in a annoying way) and is extremely confident in most situations. KATE, NINETEEN, PM |
