KATE ARIA ELLINGTON, TWENTY, MATCHWORKS- BASSIST, STRAIGHT, NAIVE Kate is the daughter of James and Claire Ellington and the sibling to 4 other children. Life was never easy for Kate, her dad was a drunk and often times would never be home or would be very loud and verbally abusive to every one. At the age of 5 years, her mother told the kids that their dad had left basically because he couldn't handle being a adult and having a family. The truth was her mother kicked him out so that the kids didn't have to be in that bad situation. They haven't seen or herd from him since, and as far as Kat is concerned she wants nothing to do with him as he was just a low life loser. Things just got worse from there as their mother could barely hold down a job that paid minimum wage and so they were very much a poor family scrapping by barely enough money to live in their two bedroom apartment. In high school she was a bit of a wreck and the kid that none of the teachers wanted to have in their classes. She talked back, never did her work and just caused a lot of problems. It was her way of acting out and getting attention. It wasn't until her junior year that she learned how to play the Bass, she was basically self taught but was able to scrape up some change to get lessons when she could. Kate was a fast learner and enjoyed playing and writing her own music. By the time her senior year had rolled around Kate's older siblings had moved out and one was all ready starting a family of his own. All she wanted to do was escape the life and family she was slightly ashamed of and have a new start. That's when she found out her older brother was on his way to Florida and talked him into letting her tag along. Her plan was to continue her last year of high school when she got their but it didn't happen that way. Instead of going to school she got a job as a waitress. It wasn't the life of glamor she had hoped for but it worked, and she was even doing better by herself then she was with her family. A couple years later is when she joined Matchworks as their bassist. Personality;; Kate is easy to get a long with and likes to have fun. In her mind she isn't having fun unless some one gets arrested so her friends expect to get in trouble when they are around her. She is slightly naive and some what immature but she knows when its time to put her big girl pants on and be mature. The girl is addicted to sour candy and with how much she eats its amazing she isn't 50lbs heavier and doesn't have a million cavity's. Kate try's to be friends with every one but she doesn't waste to much of her time when its clear some one is not interested in being her friend. At first she has this innocent girl appearance, which is slightly true when it comes to strangers or people who don't know her well. While its true most of the time she is happy go lucky she does have her moments where she can be a complete bitch because she doesn't take crap from any one. KATE, NINETEEN, PM PLEASE |
