BRENDON BROWN, 20, EVER SINCE WE MET(BASSIST), STRAIGHT, Brendon grew up like any other kid with a single parent. He was happy, but a bit lonely and not all that bright in school, though he was excellent in Music and took loads of extra classes to try and catch up, though in the end it didn't do anything to help. When he was in Primary school he didn't get the option to go swimming like everyone else - his teachers took the privalige off him because he wasn't doing well enough in almost all of his classes. He was ten when he went to a swim party, though he stayed in the shallow end the whole time. The birthday girl told him that it should be okay if he was on one of the floats, so he went out into the deeper waters on one to chat to her and her friends - he'd been more sociable back then. One of the boys thought it would be funny to toss him off, though, and grabbed the edge of the float, yanking it out from underneath Brendon. He'd gone under and panicked. The lifeguard had had to rescue him and he'd cried until his mom had shown up to fetch him. He was bullied at secondary school, not only because he was seen as extremely dumb and idiodic, but his ability to sing and reach practically any note on the scale had people calling him names and laughing at him. He sang at clubs and pubs, and played short-notice for bands who's bassist's couldn't make it for any particular reason. It was all a bit boring to him, though, so he went for broke and invested in a plane ticket to America. He was nineteen at the time, and after a week it seemed like he'd made the wrong decision and he was going to kil his career in music before he'd even started, but then he managed to get a lucky break and started playing in the clubs again. More recently he's joined a band called Ever Since We Met, and he's hoping it's as permanent a deal as any. SORROW, 17, PM |
